Computing Education

Teaching with the Computing Curriculum (TCC) in Western Kenya

World-Class Computing for Kenya's CBC.

The Raspberry Pi Foundation (RPF), in partnership with Futures Infinite has localized the Computing Curriculum for implementation within Kenya's Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). The curriculum provides a comprehensive collection of free, high-quality teaching resources designed to support computing education for learners in Grades 4–9.

Western Kenya Initiative

Building on the successful implementation of the Junior CodeCraft Code Clubs, Robotics, and Experience AI programmes across five counties in Western Kenya, Futures Infinite has been selected by the Raspberry Pi Foundation to lead the regional rollout of the Computing Curriculum.

The implementation will also prioritise counties hosting Teach For Kenya fellows and United States Peace Corps Volunteers, creating opportunities for collaborative delivery, strengthened local partnerships, and sustainable capacity building within schools and communities.

Empowering Teachers. Transforming Futures.

Through this initiative, Futures Infinite is working to develop a strong network of skilled educators equipped to deliver high-quality computing education. By empowering teachers and fostering collaboration across education stakeholders, the programme will strengthen regional education ecosystems and ensure more young people gain the digital and computational skills they need to thrive in the future.
